VISION

To see developed and equipped leaders from our churches to meet the new opportunities and challenges of church growth.

MISSION

Our purpose is to equip God-called men and women to be servant-leaders and great commission workers, helping to fulfill the mission that God has entrusted to the churches of the Bicol Region, Philippines.

OVERJOYED. Claire with BTC-CGST provost Dennis Nordine and BCCL Director Mayette Ativo-Bueno.

We praise and thank God for Claire’s successful studies at the Baptist Theological College-Cebu Graduate School of Theology (BTC-CGST) which culminated last March 18, 2011!  Finishing the Master of Divinity major in Christian Leadership course, she graduated Summa Cum Laude giving back all the glory, praises and honor to God alone.

Claire is the first BCCL graduate to finish a full masters course at BTC-CGST.  All of the subjects she took under the two-year GCUM program of BCCL were all credited by the said  theological graduate school in Cebu (which is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education–CHED).  This is the result of the partnership between the two schools forged in 2005 in which BTC-CGST accredited BCCL’s CLF and GCUM programs for their M.A. and M.Div. courses.  Thus, Claire had to complete only 30 units more of course work in the said seminary which took only two semesters and one summer of further equipping for the ministry on a masters level.  This is quite an encouragement to all BCCL GCUM graduates who would like take up M.A. or M.Div. degrees in the future.

We are simply in awe of God’s wonderful work at BCCL!  Now we have another teacher who is further developed to help fulfill God’s mandate to equip His servant-leaders in the Bicol region and beyond.  Let us pray for more of these in the coming years.  We also praise God for the persons and churches that He touched to help Claire in her studies either through prayers or financial support.  Your kind generosity will continue to bear fruit for God’s glory!
